I started Rising Sun Designs as a company where the customer can express their wants, wishes & desires and watch them come to life. By creating a design, we set the ground work to organize all of the ideas into a cohesive structure. This blocks out all of the elements of the landscape so the construction process can be done efficiently and with close attention to detail. This allows all the customers desired elements can be implemented. We also work with top rate contractors and artisans to have the design carried out to the highest standard.

I have been in the landscape industry for over 35 years. Having started in maintenance, I quickly became very aware of how things work and do not work over time. I have based my designs and construction with both the long term practicality with ageless aesthetics that sets my designs apart from the ordinary. My great passion for plant textures and colors combined with an eye for structure and an understanding of architectural and engineering uses give me a well balanced knowledge of the many different aspects of a landscape design..
